A Guide to The Norfolk Pregnancy, Baby and Child 2019 Awards

We are so giddy with excitement to be able to offer the Pregnancy, Baby and Child Industry in Norfolk an extra platform to be able to showcase your business and get great recognition FOR THE 2ND YEAR RUNNING!

Business nominations can be done by yourself and cost just £10 for 1 category, £15 for 2 categories (use the code: letsdothis) or £18 for 3 or more categories (use the code: inittowinit). This is an admin cost, as the costs behind setting up these awards, the time to upload and organise nominations, promotion and let’s not forget the judging panel and incredible awards party are all quite costly!

You can nominate your business until 14 July 2019 when all nominations will be taken and uploaded so members of the public can vote between mid July and the end of September. At the end of September voting closes and businesses will be shortlisted based on the number of votes they receive. At this point the shortlisted businesses will be contacted with a questionnaire to fill out, which will then be sent to an independent judging panel. The winners will then be announced on the evening of our awards at Hales Hall.

So, in short:

  1. Nominate your business until 14th July
  2. Public voting from mid July – end of September
  3. Finalists announced at the end of September and sent a questionnaire to fill out
  4. All questionnaires sent to judging panel to judge in November
  5. Winners announced at our awards party in December at Hales Hall

Judging panel

Our independent judging panel will be made up of businesses outside of Norfolk who know the industry well – Alex from The Parent and Baby Show will not be involved in the judging and will not know the results until the Awards evening.

Terms and Conditions of entry

To keep voting fair in the public voting stage we are operating a ‘no paid advertising for votes’ rule. This means that any business entered has the same opportunity as any other. If you are found to be boosting posts through social media your nomination will be void and there will be no refund.

Awards party – Hales Hall

We are currently working on creating the most fabulous awards evening with lots of intricate details at Hales Hall on Thursday 5th December. Last year we had the theme of festival vs flapper … so there will be an equally exciting and funky theme for 2019! See images here of how we partied and celebrated our industry!

Our awards party is THE perfect evening for you and your team to celebrate your year and of course, CHRISTMAS! An Awards evening like NO OTHER!

Shortlisted Businesses

All shortlisted businesses will receive a discount code to for 2 awards tickets, an online badge to use on their website/social media, inclusion in a press pack sent to local media.


All winners will receive a small gift from the sponsor of their category, a winners badge for their website and social media, photo call for local media and inclusion in press pack which will go out, a listing on our 2019 awards page and a few extra bits and bobs which we are working on.
